Paramount Citrus Association acquires Grupo Industrial Santa Engracia SA De CV, a division of The UniMark Group Inc.

New York , New York – May, 2008

The Unimark Group, Irving, Texas, has sold its subsidiary Grupo Industrial Santa Engracia SA De CV in Mexico to a unit of Paramount Citrus, a major citrus grower and marketer in California. The transaction involved the sale of approximately 7,000 acres of citrus groves in central Mexico. The acquisition also included land, packing facilities, worker housing, basic infrastructure improvements and rights to 14 billion cubic feet of water for irrigation.

Key & Company initiated this transaction advised the Unimark Group in structuring and valuing the agreement with Paramount.
